I decided to invest with Crestworth Capital and Sterling because it makes complete sense. I am extremely busy with my day-to-day work and family life and this seemed to be a great option to invest in. I was sitting on some cash, it was losing money due to the really high inflation, the stock market is an absolute roller coaster, and after reviewing their business plan thoroughly I decided to do it. I have been in real estate as an active Realtor, Broker, and investor for 15 years. I currently have 5 residential rentals and man can they be a headache. This investment seems to take that stress away, has a high potential of giving me an immediate return on my initial investment, creating passive income for a handful of years, and potentially double what I put in when we sell. It seems like a no-brainer.
Investing passively in multifamily has allowed me the opportunity to harvest comparable returns to my single-family portfolio with more upside and far less stress and work. Multifamily investing has also provided much needed diversification to my investment portfolio with 10+ years of savings already tied up in my 401k and other brokerage accounts. Finally, I’m taking advantage of the opportunities in the tax code to benefit from various tax deferral opportunities to allow my temporary savings in taxes to work for me via the time value of money until they eventually come due.
I always wanted to invest in real estate but between the shift work and the kids I could just never find the time. When this passive opportunity came up it really seemed like a perfect fit for me. I put $50k in the first project we did and it has been going so well that I really regretted not putting in more so I put $100k in the next one and it looks like its doing just as well. It’s been a very transparent and professional process with timely updates and effortless distributions.
